Common questions

How are the numbers calculated? Every number in the app has a How is this calculated? link with the formula, your own values and the sources.
Do I need an account? No. Heptyx creates an anonymous account with no name, e-mail or phone number after you consent.

Restore a purchase

Open Heptyx, go to Premium and tap Restore purchases. Use the same App Store or Google Play account you subscribed with.

Cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are managed by the store, not inside Heptyx.

iPhone: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Heptyx.
Android: open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription.

Delete your data

In Heptyx, open Settings, then Delete my data, then Delete everything. This removes your profile and everything on your phone, and deletes your anonymous account on our server. It cannot be undone. Deleting the app alone does not delete the server account. If you no longer have the app, see Delete your data.

You can also take a copy first: Settings → Export my data.

Reminders do not arrive

Check that notifications for Heptyx are allowed in your phone's settings.
Heptyx plans your reminders for the next 30 days each time you open it. If you have not opened it for a month, open it once to plan them again.
On Android, reminders can arrive a few minutes late. Heptyx does not ask for exact alarm access.

Rhythm match invites

An invite code works for 7 days and for one person. If it has expired or has been used, ask for a new one.
If the invite link does not open Heptyx, make sure the app is installed and up to date, then open the link again. You can also enter the code by hand: on Today, choose I have an invite code.
Either of you can end a match at any time: open the match and choose End match. It is deleted for both of you straight away.

The numbers look different from another app

Heptyx counts days by your local calendar date and does not use your birth time, so results can differ by a day from apps that do. Open How is this calculated? under any number to see each step.
